Marketing Specialist 

We have an immediate need for a Marketing Specialist to join a rapidly growing company. Robertson Electric Wholesale is a customer service obsessed organization which incents its customer with an Industry Leading Loyalty program.

The role of the Marketing Specialist is to provide monthly updates, reconciliation and invoicing for our Loyalty program. Work closely with the Business Solutions Group providing a range of marketing and creative support for a variety of digital and print projects. This position reports to the VP, Business Solutions and works closely with the Sales, Buying, Key Vendor Partners, Recruitment and third-party marketing providers.

Roles and  Responsibilities:

• Works collaboratively with team to plan and execute external and internal promotions and helps execute the day-to-day task for the Loyalty program.
• Works to ensure copy/concepts serve the purpose of selling the Robertson Electric Wholesale’s product/service/images according to the strategic creative plan.
• Assists in drafting company newsletter; oversees production of agency newsletter.
• Plans and executes monthly promotions on all digital platforms and Brick & Mortar locations across Canada.
• Works internally and with agency to execute a wide variety of print, digital and web collaterals
• Manages supplier relationships
• Hands on with planning and implementing web-based content
• Provides content management updates to all digital platforms
• Develops marketing content that is technical in nature for print, web, and video.
• Coordinates internal and external communications for contests, promotions and monthly reporting.
• Assists with general requirements of the Business Solutions Group
• Assists in writing proposals, marketing plans, publicity, etc., as requested.

Qualifications and Experience:

• 3+ experience developing marketing content for Electrical industry or similar
• Work experience in marketing, design or web related field preferred.
• Proven experience with the coordination of print and web collaterals
• Graphic design skills for print and web
• Computer proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe Creative Cloud and WordPress
• Working knowledge of Google Docs, Mail Chimp and Dropbox
• Excellent communication skills (oral, written)
