Robertson was founded in 1952 and has provided service to the Canadian marketplace for over 60 years.
In October 2008, the company was purchased by members of the Campbell family. With a long, successful history in the electrical distribution industry, their goal was to simply take something great and make it better, more competitive, and more valuable as a supplier to existing and new customers.
Robertson is now one of Canada’s largest independent electrical solutions provider and wholesale distributor. Since 2008, Robertson has been leading the Canadian marketplace with speed-to-market products to ensure all jobs are completed on time and on budget. Our branches have the expertise, solutions and service our customers require, and are strategically placed throughout Canada to service all your needs.

Our goals are simple: to serve our customers better than anyone else, to be the distributor of choice for electrical needs, to always be in-stock on key items and to provide our customers with incentives as appreciation for their loyalty. While providing best in class service to our customers is the foundation of our organization; we continue to evolve in new ways to continue to lead the Electrical industry with speed to market products and innovative solutions to ensure the loyalty of customers needs are fulfilled. Guided by the needs of our customers, we will always strive to be first to market on innovation and service. Robertson has seen remarkable growth in a very short period of time. In support of this growth, new branch locations have opened up in Ontario and Western Canada with several more branches in development nationwide.
Robertson’s customers are supported by a large, active sales force, knowledgeable counter staff, and a broad and extensive inventory with a daily delivery schedule resulting in an effective turnaround between manufacturers and customers.
