Administration & Customer Service Representative - Burnaby

Scope of the Position
The Administration and Customer Service Rep is responsible for providing secretarial, clerical and administrative support to the branch in order to ensure that services are provided in an effective and efficient manner. They must maintain the telephone system and ensure that the calls are being answered in a prompt and courteous manner. They will also be responsible for filling in positions around the branch that are in need of an extra hand. They are also responsible for any other duties that are assigned to them by management.

 Major Responsibilities

  • Answer telephone calls and direct callers to the correct person or voicemail and/or takes messages.
  • Filing documents accordingly.
  • Assisting with Project Coordination in regards to customer service, making sure projects are running smoothly and customers are being taken care of.
  • Assisting with warehouse duties: picking orders, putting stock away.
  • Assisting with shipping/receiving when needed.
  • New duties may be added to this description with proper explanation at any time.

  • Previous experience working in an Administrative Role
  • Responsible and reliable
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal 
  • Excellent telephone manner
