Scope of the Position

Robertson Electric is looking for an energetic Recruiter to support our staffing needs across Canada!

As an integral part of our HR team, you will have a direct impact on our ability to hire the best talent needed to grow the company. You will be responsible for building strong talent pipelines and will work closely with our HR Coordinator to recruit top talent. You will work to keep the candidate pool current and explore different avenues to have a continuous flow of candidates.

Major Responsibilities

• Full-cycle recruiting and actively sourcing candidates
• Craft compelling job ads to ensure the highest possible response rate from targeted talent
• Understand the competitive landscape and proactively work with stakeholders to finesse recruiting strategy
• Execute social media strategies to build candidate flow
• Manage inflow of applicants on a timely basis
• Demonstrate a high level of energy and passion in communication with candidates and management
• Manage multiple job requisitions, with excellent evaluation skills
• Administrative duties and record-keeping, which includes all candidate data and information
• Attend career fairs and present at industry events
• Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need

Skills and Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience with recruiting and sourcing
• Strong English oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrate flexibility in responding to shifting priorities
• Excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to coordinate and prioritize workload
