Pick Up Counter

The Pick-up Counter Associate is responsible for accurately retrieving products to fulfill orders in a timely manner for customers coming to pick up products.

Major Responsibilities

  • Efficiently pick customer orders accurately as they are printed throughout the day, ensuring that the correct number and type of product are given to the customer.
  • Maintain the customer and cash file, making sure the material is picked and marked on the shelf so it can be easily identified.
  • Responsible for coordinating customer pickups and making note of who and when they were contacted.
  • Contact customers for newly received backorders that come in
  • Contact customers daily to pick up stocked orders – if not picked up within 3 weeks the customer should be notified the order will be canceled and returned to stock.
  • Pick up wire cuts in wire department for as per need
  • Process orders accurately and in a timely manner, keeping control of the file copy.
  • Keep work station cleaned and stocked with necessary supplies
  • The attendant is responsible for carrying out assigned housekeeping tasks and for carrying out any other duties assigned by management.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 1-3 years’ working knowledge of electrical products
  • Strong ability to communicate, multitask, prioritize and possess high attention to detail
  • Good health and physical strength – ability to lift up to 50LBS
