Billing Clerk

Scope of Position

The Billing Clerk will be responsible for receiving orders and invoicing material(s) ordered in the system. They are also responsible for issuing credits to the customers by the necessary means. The Billing Specialist will also update and maintain customer files with accurate information. A few other functions that the Billing Specialist provides are processing invoices, and submitting invoices using electronic data interchange.

Major Responsibilities

  • Create customer sales report every week.
  • Issue invoices to customers.
  • Update customer files with issued invoices.
  • Process credit memos, if necessary, create credits to customers.
  • Submit invoices by electronic data interchange.
  • Communicate with branches in regards to invoicing.
  • Any other duties assigned to them by management.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting
  • Responsible and reliable
