Scope of the Position

The Warehouse/Driver is responsible for checking all orders that have been picked for customers and making sure the order is properly packed and wrapped for shipment. They are also responsible for scheduling all shipments and ensuring that deliveries are done on time. This associate will also be responsible for delivering products to customers on a daily basis. They are responsible to drive to and from between the pickup place and the destination delivering goods/products and collecting the payment. It is their duty to ensure the cleanliness and the maintenance of the delivery vehicle and must ensure the safe delivery of the product without any delay or damage. They are also responsible for any other duties assigned to them by management.

Major Responsibilities

• Putting inventory away in its correct location.
• Packing, wrapping and labeling products onto skids.
• Drivers must ensure that they have the correct names and addresses of customers, and stay in contact with dispatchers for additional pickups.
• Loading and unloading trucks.
• They are responsible to drive to and from between the pickup place and the destination delivering goods/products and collecting the payment
• Valid driver’s license with clean abstract.
• Picking orders for customers in a timely and efficient manner.
• Checking stock on skids to ensure that the delivery is correct.
• Makes sure that incoming and outgoing products and material are in good condition.
• Pick-up and deliver various items and products.
• Load and unload goods from truck.
• Use maps and other trip planning aids.
• Perform pre-trip inspection of vehicle.
• Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs and any problems.
• Responsible for carrying out assigned housekeeping tasks.
• Responsible for carrying out any other duties assigned by management.

Skills and Qualifications

• 1-3 years’ experience working in a warehouse
• Ability to map out a warehouse
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations
• Completion of High School
• Good health and physical strength, able to lift a minimum of 50lbs.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
• Accuracy in following instructions
